There are different kinds of internships that you can do with us.
1. One month – This is a very quick overview of mission, giving you a
taste of who we are and what we do. You will have a limited amount of ministry
opportunities.
2. Two to Three months – Our interns that come for the summer usually
come for this amount of time. It is a chance to get a little closer to the ministry,
the Nationals and the Missionaries. You will have a chance to minister in the
Women’s Prison, Garbage Dump, Orphanage, Construction projects and leading
teams.
3. Six months – This will give you a half a year of in-depth cultural
and missionary training. You have the option of staying in a nationals’
home, and really learn the language. The above ministries are also available
to you. Come and see if Missions is where God wants you in the future as well.
4. One Year – There are several options for one-year interns, however
it is more difficult to get a visa. One option is to do ON-MISSION, which is
an in-depth program that involves studying and mentoring. The other is an open
ended time where you come and check things out and see where you feel most comfortable
ministering. Try out your gifts and talents and be of help to those less fortunate
than you.
