What is the Leadership Training Team?

The Leadership Training Team is a small group of college age students with a heart for cross-cultural ministry. You will spend up to 1 year in Ecuador learning and applying these skills (see further description below). You will be responsible to raise your own funding for this trip and a limited number of people will be chosen for this ministry. Those interested need to fill out the application.

Your experience will include:

• Training sessions with missionaries about how to do the ministry cross-culturally.
• A daily connection to the Ecuadorian people- having the opportunity to build authentic and lasting relationships that will impact their souls and yours for eternity.
• You will work with the Youth and Children’s Ministries in different churches and contexts as an intern.
• An opportunity to use your gifts in worship services and small group or cell group meetings throughout the week.
• Coordinating and administrating different Short-term teams from the U.S. and Canada.
• Working closely with Ecuadorian national pastors and leaders in construction, ministry and tourism.
• A 24/7-ministry experience, as you may be housed along with the Short-term teams, or in camping type settings.
• Language and culture study classes where you will begin to learn the language through immersion and learn the economic, social and spiritual culture of Ecuador.

Dates: Summer 2007 – Summer 2008
Cost: $850 per month, not including your plane ticket to and from North America.
