It has been a long time dream that God has made real. We dreamed for years that we would be able to see in our Alliance Seminaries in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia a Youth Ministry Track. In 2006, this dream came true as the Los Olivos Alliance Church in Lima branched out of the SEBAP (Alliance Bible Seminary in Lima) and started a Youth Ministry Track. It now has 101 students attending to be trained youth leaders.

Also, in two seminaries in Ecuador the process is under way.  Seminario Bíblico de la Alianza en Quito (SBAQ) started September 17th, 2007, with 13 students.  In Guayaquil (SBAG) it will start in February of 2008. Now there is a way for youth leaders to receive a Bachelors degree in Youth Ministries.

Thanks to LA RED ministries in Quito, we are able to offer a Youth Ministry Track to other seminaries as well. The idea is to have students study theology in their own seminary and come together to study the Youth Ministry classes. The vision is to have the Nazarene Seminary, Church of God Seminary (Semisud) and the Baptist Seminary all working together on the Youth Ministry Track.

Now the dream is to have a Master’s Program in Youth Ministries for the Youth Pastors in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.
