1. That we will rest enough to continue doing the ministry. 2. That we would be good parents for our kids. 3. For Olivia in High School. She is playing volleyball now and LOVES it. They aren’t (anti-spam-winning) a ton of games, but she is having fun. 4. For Michaela (Raleigh) in 6th grade. She is doing fabulous doing all of her projects. She loves projects. She is practicing volleyball with the JV girls and her sister Olie. 5. For Josiah in 5th grade. He love having Mrs. Groeneweg. He too is playing volleyball at recess. 6. For Alex in 1st grade to make lots of friends and enjoy her new teacher. She is loving 1st grade now that she is the “experienced” one. 7. For our Short Term teams of 2008, that we will all be safe, healthy and accomplish much. The plan is to have close to 25 teams run by 13 interns. WE will work in Ecuador and Peru, we are dreaming about Colombia some day too. 8. For the youth leaders (MP3 – Mentoring and Pastoring the Youth Pastors in Body, Soul and Spirit). We meet once a month and are having to do A LOT of pastoring for them as they are struggling with churches, other pastors and youth. 9. For the Youth Encounters of 2008, that many youth will find themselves, God and be revitalized in their families. Lisa’s group Corban will be there to help with the music, but that is all of the help we are giving them. They have learned the program well and are expecting over 50 youth to attend this November 1st to 3rd. 10. For all of our speaking engagements this fall in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Rich is speaking at a big Missions Youth Event October 27th, and in Colombia in November. Lisa is also helping with workshops in both events. 11. Pray for Lisa’s parents, as they will be here in Ecuador with us for the next couple of months. They arrive the 31st of October and stay through December. WE can’t wait to have Grandparents near us again.
