Paul: I’m an m.k. (missionary kid) from Colombia and for a short while served as a missionary in Venezuela. I have had a longtime dream of returning to Latin America to serve the Lord in some capacity in that culture.
Lineth: A long time ago God put in my heart a desire to serve Him. For many years I had the privilege of working as a missionary to the Guahibo tribe in the jungles of my country, Colombia.
The Lord brought us together nearly 6 years ago. He has since been in the process of casting a vision of us sharing the power of His transforming grace as we live and minister in Colombia.
God is calling us to serve as missionaries with Inca Link in Bogota Colombia. Our job will be to coordinate short term mission groups in Bogota by plugging them into ongoing Colombian ministries. Short-term missionaries will minister encouragement and the love of Jesus to those who are in ministry and to those who are being ministered to. They will serve as the hands and feet of Jesus as they reach out to some of the “least of these” in Colombian society, coming away with a new vison for Kingdom work and a fresh dependence on God for everyday life.
Our experiences of doing life cross-culturally both in Colombia and the U.S. have given us an understanding of those cultures that will enable mission teams to interact effectively and purposefully with people outside of their own culture and environment.
Our mission is to “touch two worlds” by creating opportunities for relationship and ministry that span cultural and linguistic divides. We want individuals in both worlds to be impacted with the reality of the love and grace of Christ in their lives.
Our vision is to reach the 300million youth of Latin America with the love of Christ seeing lives transformed by and lived in the abundant power of God’s grace. Our prayer is that we would live a “lover’s life, . . ., making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.” Phil. 1:11 msg
