We are in the Dominican Republic with Brandon, Paul, and Scott. All of these guys are serving in different areas with the Alliance in the US and around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Scott, what is one of the things you&#8217;ve learned about reaching the next generation? Maybe 2 things: 1. I recognize that there is a hunger to know the real Jesus; and 2. they do that in a discovery mode, so we need to be in a listening\/communication posture, much like Jesus hanging out with his disciples. <\/li><li>Why are short-term missions important? Paul &#8211; I think it&#8217;s pretty important because you get a taste of the heart of the Lord and his heart for the nations. So being on a short- term trip gets your taste ready and hunger for more of being in God&#8217;s mission. Brandon &#8211; Me being here now started from a short-term missions trip. It also affects our brothers and sisters locally; they receive a ton of benefit from the short-term teams that visit. Paul &#8211; Es muy importante porque puedes ver desde 35 mil pies arriba lo que Dios est\u00e1 haciendo en su mundo, y cuando ves el coraz\u00f3n de Dios, eso te llama a ti a involucrarte en la misi\u00f3n de Dios. Brandon &#8211; Para m\u00ed, los equipos de corto plazo tienen un impacto bien fuerte en mi vida. Yo estoy aqu\u00ed por esta raz\u00f3n.
