{"id":9646,"date":"2019-03-27T07:20:17","date_gmt":"2019-03-27T11:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/?p=9646"},"modified":"2019-03-27T07:20:17","modified_gmt":"2019-03-27T11:20:17","slug":"terrific-tuesdays-3-27-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/terrific-tuesdays\/terrific-tuesdays-3-27-19","title":{"rendered":"Terrific Tuesdays 3-27-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9647\" src=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/camp-uno-2-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>How is it possible that we are at the end of March?\u00a0 Time flies and God keeps working.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highs: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/inca-thakhi\/\">Inca Thakhi<\/a> organized camp ONE and with the help of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/amijai\/\">Amijai<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/elim\/\">Elim<\/a> y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/mana\/\">MAN\u00c1<\/a> it was a total success!\u00a0 50 kids between the ages of 6-12 attended, and 30 leaders helped out.\u00a0 Many of the leaders were pre teens and teens that are also part of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/peru-country\/\">ILP<\/a> ministries.\u00a0 Congratulations ILP!<\/li>\n<li>Andres Castro was unanimously voted in as official Executive Director of Inca Link Peru, after passing his 6 month trial period with flying colors.\u00a0 Congratulations Andres!<\/li>\n<li>Kei Sullivan has now finished 6 months of serving with Inca Link in <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9657\" src=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/andres-castro-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/ministriesportoviejo78\/\">Portoviejo 7.8<\/a>.\u00a0 She is an endless fountain of energy and we love her.\u00a0 She taught the women of the P7.8 ministry how to crochet and it&#8217;s amazing how quick they have picked it up. Thank you Kei!<\/li>\n<li>Rich and I had a great time in Costa Rica, investigating some options of where we can partner as Inca Link.\u00a0 We also took advantage of our time there to give a Parents Seminar through E625 at the Alliance church of San Francisco.\u00a0 It was wonderful to join with other parents who love God and want to guide their children well.\u00a0 As always, when we have the privilege of being with Chuck Fanberg, the time is too short!<\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9660\" src=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Kei-172x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"172\" height=\"300\" \/>Rich, Alexa and I squeezed in 2 nights at Palma Azul on the coast of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ecuador\/\">Ecuador<\/a>.\u00a0 It was a beautiful, relaxing, swimming, sunning, enjoying the waves of the ocean time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Lows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>We need more girls in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/casa-elizabeth\/\">Casa Elizabeth<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>I broke my pinkie toe.<\/li>\n<li>Rich and I are having to do a battery of medical tests (all routine for our age) that are no fun at all.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Prayer requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>That God will guide the couple we interviewed in Costa Rica to join our Inca Link team!<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9667\" src=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Palma-Azul-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>For several families and individuals that we have been interviewing as potential missionaries with Inca Link.<\/li>\n<li>For all of our Executive Directors in each country and the huge work load they have.<\/li>\n<li>For Casa Elizabeth as we go through some structural changes.<\/li>\n<li>For the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/es\/ministries\/corbanband\/\">Corban<\/a> tour that we will be doing in July of 2019.\u00a0 We are renewing passports, getting visas, buying endless amounts of flights and coordinating with churches in several different states.\u00a0 We&#8217;d love to find 3 more churches in the Colorado area to maximize our time in the US.<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9654\" src=\"http:\/\/www.incalink.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Kairos-Portoviejo-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>We have several guests joining us in the next month at our house.\u00a0 I personally need help from on high to be a good hostess!<\/li>\n<li>For Rich and I as we have to have a colonoscopy this week.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude41<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Goals reached for the week:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterviewed 6 potential missionaries, investigated several project possibilities in 3 different countries, completed a Kairos course in Portoviejo (and I completed my role as Head Facilitator in training with this one), Parents seminar in San Jose, Costa Rica, meetings with Leader Mundial, E625, Entre Nosotras, Casa Elizabeth, and purchasing of many tickets for the Corban tour as well as coordinating with churches in the States.<\/p>\n<p>Hugs to all.<br \/>\nIntensely\u00a0focused,<br \/>\nElisa and Rich<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How is it possible that we are at the end of March?\u00a0 Time flies and God keeps working.
