May and June seem like a long time ago, but here are a few things IMG_0181that God has been doing:
Moses, in the yellow shirt, is the first husband we have coming out to the program, so now the whole family is coming out. Also, we had a men’s retreat and he came forward and accepted Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior!

For mother’s day we took them out for Chinese lunch, which they fully enjoyed. Proverbs 14:1 was our main verse: A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. Continue to pray for these women as they love on their families. 11209466_1611179202458899_7681017844086946171_n

Friday afternoon started with the purpose of allowing the women to make bracelets, which means they brought their children. Stephany and Monica, the teachers of the 6-8 & 9-11 classes, decided to start teaching their students! This has been a major impact on their biblical knowledge as it’s a smaller but more intensely focused class.

I received my license to drive the 17 passenger van, this is a huge blessing!

Two of the teenagers will be finishing high school this year. We desire that they will become the future leaders and teachers of the children’s classes. They had a practice class and the kids loved them!

One Saturday we did not have a snack to share. Then we got a phone callIMG_0298 saying that we had 77 pounds of avocados to give out to our ministry!

Steph and I have been married for half a year, which has gone so fast! It is so great having her by my side and sharing every moment together. God has grown each of us through these first six months and we would not have it any other way, she is awesome and I love her with all my heart!!
Steph has been studying in FATEL, which is a theology facility, for her masters. Praise the Lord she has been excelling in her studies!

It’s summer time, so groups have been coming down to help the ministries. If YOU would like to come down October 12-21, there is a few people from PA that are coming down to visit me. Let me know if you want to join this team!

Thanks for reading and praying!
kneel often and stand strong,
Brent & Steph
