My name is Adam Bannister. I am 23 years old and recently graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Biblical and Religious Studies. During my time in school, the Lord led me to serve in the Middle East where I spent most of my time in relational ministry. While conversing with some friends about music, they expressed that they do not care as much about the lyrics of a song as long as it was beautiful. This made me wonder what it would be like to have an album of music that told the Gospel, beginning to end. The Lord then took this thought and developed it into something I could never have imagined.
During January 2020, the Lord gave me 17 songs; each of them is a narrative, mostly all from the book of Luke. By the end May, the album was finished, with a total of 20 songs. The album is currently being recorded in English, with the hope of it being translated into numerous languages one day, the first of which being Spanish.
The Lord has placed it on my heart to go and share these songs with those who have not yet heard the Gospel or received the precious gift of salvation that Christ came to offer us. As I looked for agencies to partner with, the Lord led me to Inca Link, an organization that already has a bilingual worship team that tours Latin America! Therefore, I plan to take these songs to teach, equip, and tell others about Jesus in Guatemala, where I will serve as a worship leader/coordinator at Adonai International Hospital.
