Anna was born to missionary parents in Quito, Ecuador, where she lived until her family moved to the U.S. when she was 12. Ten years later in 2014, she finally returned to Ecuador as a summer intern with Inca Link. After graduating from Wheaton College (IL) in 2015 with a dual degree in Theology and Cultural Anthropology, she spent another summer working with Inca Link, coordinating short-term teams and interns in Ecuador.
She fell in love with the coastal region of Ecuador and Will and Amanda Eason‘s vision for families and children through the Bonsai After-School Program. She has been working with Inca Link in Manta since January of 2017, coordinating Bonsai‘s sponsorship program and social media and assisting the directors and teachers. Anna has a passion for education, the global church and children’s spiritual development and loves seeing these things come together in her work with Bonsai.
