Luke and Maddy are living in San Jose, Costa Rica where they are focusing on Inca Link Costa Rica’s (ILCR) first financial engine Tucántico cafe. They are currently serving as the cafe’s general managers through developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff, creating and implementing strategies for business growth hiring new staff. 

They are also ensuring that departments deliver quality offerings to clients, working closely with employees to ensure repeat customers, developing new solutions to meet customer needs, improving internal processes for better productivity, overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports, and managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit. 

In addition, Luke and Maddy are using the cafe to aid in the process of jumpstarting a college ministry for the local students at the University of Costa Rica. The cafe and university are only a short walk away from each other which serves as an huge asset in connecting with the locals and creating this new ministry.
