Summer Global Outreach Internships FAQs

Global Outreach Summer Interns begin their internship in Costa Rica and then will travel to one or more Latin American countries to partner in ministry with Inca Link ministry sites. Specific countries will be announced in the Spring and are dependent upon ministry site needs.

There is not an age limit; however, most participants are between 18-30 years old.

Specific dates vary depending on the year, but are typically between June 1-August 10

No. Interns are expected to attend all training and ministry dates until the final debrief.

The Global Outreach Summer Intern Program includes discipleship, opportunities to serve with local ministry sites, community building activities, discussion groups, Bible study, and Spanish language training.

Internship costs vary per year. For current pricing, email the Intern Coordinator at rforman@incalink.org. The internship cost includes in-country ground transportation, lodging, meals, activities & ministry funds, travel insurance and more. Airfare is not included.

Pre-field training consists of an at-your-own-pace online program followed by training meetings with your ministry cohort or Intern Coordinator. On-site training will occur once in Costa Rica and will include language and ministry training.
