Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are on the coast of Ecuador, which is such a great place to be. We are excited because we just finished our second cohort of Roots Academy.
- What is Roots Academy? It started in January of this year and is our missionary training time for people who are onboarding with Inca Link! It has been a great time. It started as a dream for a future for when maybe Rich and I retired, but we realized it was an immediate need. So as we always do in Inca Link, we pivoted because we squinted our eyes and ears and saw that this is something the Holy Spirit is leading us into. So we started in January with all our trainers. We have already had 13 graduates, and we are super excited about it.
- One of the highlights from the second cohort we just wrapped up was the opportunity to take students from a classroom setting to Latin America. What better way to learn than to touch and feel and taste everything we are talking about through these classroom settings. It’s an opportunity to put wheels on the training that students received. We also learned along with them. We got to experience a lot of the ministries here in Ecuador, we got to speak to a lot of ministry leaders, and even interact in some of the communities and ministries firsthand. What a great way to take a concept and experience it in real time.
- If you are feeling God’s call to missions, Roots is one of the opportunities you would have with Inca Link to be trained. God trains and equips the called. Seek out your calling and find out how you can be trained so you go to the field prepared. Please continue to pray for Inca Link, Roots, and its 13 graduates.
May God bless you and have a great week.
