Happy Terrific Tuesday! We’re in Quito, Ecuador, with the Carneys.
- Who are you and what are you doing here? I’m Rebekah, this is Brandon. We live in Quito and work with Casa Elizabeth, El Hormiguero, and Quinta Casablanca.
- What do these ministries do? With Casa Elizabeth, it is a pregnancy care home for teenage mothers and their babies. At Quinta Casablanca, it’s the main guest house for Inca Link in Ecuador, they host a lot of mission trip teams. And El Hormiguero is a youth program that encompasses a whole lot of stuff, but it’s basically teens discipling teens and serving the community around them.
- If a short-term team were to come down, what would they do? Anything from construction projects to caring for babies, putting on Vacation Bible Schools, having a chance to disciple a whole lot of people in need down here.
- As we try to reach the 300 million youth of Latin America, you can come be a part of that, not just by praying and giving, but coming and seeing for yourself what God is doing here, and hopefully taking that back to your own countries, churches, and to what God is doing in your neighborhood. Have a great week everybody.
