Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are in San Jose, Costa Rica, loving every minute of our time here. We are with Nacho and Osiris, and we are marveling at all the things God is doing here in them and through them.
- As a missionary, what kinds of things are you up to? We are up to a lot of things, but some of the things is that we work closely with the students at the University of Costa Rica (UCR) behind us. We have a college ministry and just launched our academic residency program with Crown College, so anyone interested in doing one year of full-time missionary practicing, being part of the college and being the hands and feet of Jesus, come join us. God is doing amazing things. Josue, who is one of our English students, is now joining our Inca Link team. So that is my primary focus – the college students and our coffee shop, Tucántico, to make disciples and make Christ known.
- It’s amazing as we think about how Inca Link Costa Rica started with the Taubes, then the Edwards came, now Nacho is the executive director of Inca Link Costa Rica. What are some of the ministries that people can come be involved in? We have been working for three years in a neighborhood called Montufar that the Taubes started with a local church. Now we are seeing all the fruits with all the kids and youth. We have a basketball ministry, soccer ministry, we’re working with the public school, doing work projects, and we are doing some English classes for the community. We have a deep relationship with the community of Montufar. We invite you to come get to know that neighborhood; we are very excited to continue our work there.
- Nacho and Osiris are helping us reach the 300 million youth of Latin America in so many creative ways. Not just with sports or English as a second language, but discipleship and connecting them with the church. It is amazing work! Learn more here.
Everybody have a great week. God bless you.
