Terrific Tuesdays 6-27-23

Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are in Texas enjoying the heat. We have been so excited to be a part of the Cumbre Alta camps. We want to introduce you to Orlando and Soyla, who are working with Inca Link USA!

  • What are you doing with Inca Link USA? We have the Cumbre Alta Bossier City club that we started. We’re about to begin our season in late July. We just got done with tryouts, our teams are formed. We are super excited about this new adventure and excited to work with Inca Link!
  • How many players are there? What is a soccer club? Where is Bossier and what does that mean? Bossier is a little town next to Shreveport, Louisiana. We will have around 90 kids competing at a high level. We not only try to teach the skills of the game, but teach them the skills for life that they are going to need forever.
  • Inca Link USA is starting with a club like Cumbre Alta USA that’s helping reach kids and disciple them, not just with soccer, but with Christ and following Christ the rest of their lives. Did you know that 30 million of the 300 million youth of Latin America are right here in the United States? So we are trying to reach that 10% that are in the United States.
  • Praise God for Orlando and Soyla for what they are doing – reaching out to people all over the United States with soccer camps this summer. They are hosting 5 camps this summer. If you would like to be a volunteer, contact us because we could use volunteers. We have professional soccer players and coaches who came from Ecuador to serve on a missions trip this summer for 5 weeks in Longview, Dallas, Shreveport, and Colorado Springs. Come join us, and if not, pray for us.

Lord bless you and have a great week.
