Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are always excited to spend time with Amanda Burge. We are in Quito, Ecuador, getting to make good plans for the future.
- You should recognize Amanda because she and her husband, Shane, were missionaries in Mexico. It’s been about three years since the last time we had a Terrific Tuesday with them. Now the Lord has gifted us with her in the Director of Operations position for Inca Link. Thank you, Amanda, for all that you do!
- Amanda: It’s exciting to be in this role. As we moved home, I never imagined that I would get to stay this connected with everything that is going on across the board in Inca Link. From a stateside staff perspective, that’s what we are passionate about – connecting people, whether it’s churches, schools, individuals, or families, with what God is doing in Latin America. I get to help lead a team of 16 staff doing things from finance to communication, social media, videography, and of course helping individuals get to the field, which is something we are all passionate about.
- What are some exciting opportunities ahead? We already have as many or maybe even more teams headed to the field in 2026 as we did in 2025. In the past couple months, we just finished training 13 new missionaries. Our internships are ramping up; people are ready to dive in. As a stateside staff, it is really fun for us to get to be on the front end of that and watch God show up in super cool ways across the board.
- To see how you guys support those on the field – missionaries, national organizations – all that you are doing is so important to what Inca Link is doing around the continent. Thank you for what you are doing.
Have a great rest of your week!
